FRIEND IN ME
"FRIEND IN ME" is a song I wrote to help children cope with bullying and loneliness. It is also a song to help them feel more self-reliant. My Dad always taught me to have a friend within myself and it has always held me in good stead. Like all "Sammy & The Sparks" songs, "FRIEND IN ME" is written as an affirmation. The song is designed to encourage children to:
- Be more self-reliant.
- Enjoy their own company.
- Cope with bullying.
